Lincoln Road Church is
Supervised Nursery is available again
"The congregation of (name
of church) commits in principle to participate in the new "Hope
Community" (United Church of Canada) beginning July 1, 2010. We
understand that this will be a transitional strategy in which we will
work together sharing resources, staff and programs in an effort to
strengthen the mission of the United Church in Windsor. Further, we
understand that this commitment may mean significant change including
worshiping in another building on Sunday mornings, new staff
responsibilities and relationships as well as altered governance." Hope community After several meetings
of representatives of the four churches, some decisions have been
reached. The tentative name has been selected, a mission statement
crafted, the model to be followed has been decided. AS the next step,
all churches will have before their annual meetings a statement of their
intent, in principle, to participate in the process going forward.
